She had two sons.

In Aug 1951, while junior officer in the Army, her husband was transfered to Ft Lewis near Tacoma WA.  She remained and settled in the area.

After her divorce in 1978 she resumed her nursing carerr, retiring in 1987.

She died in 1994 from complications of intestinal cancer.
