2011 Iron Springs Vacation

Every year the extended Brewer family (Lynne's family) spends a couple of weeks at Iron Springs Resort,
which is just a bit north of Copalis, on the Washington coast.
This has been a family tradition since 1953.

In 2010 Iron Springs was sold and remodeled.
All of the cabins were rebuilt and refurbished.

In keeping with the old flavor, old cabin siding was salvaged and hand crafted into coffee tables and trees that had to be cut were made into the new dinning tables and other rustic features.

Iron Springs is a wonderful relaxing place, where the general rule is to simply do nothing.

This year we were back in cabin 24.

Chris and Donna on the beach.

It rained most of the first week, but it cleared in enough for  our visitors.

On  Wed  Chris and Donna had a rare day off together
and came down for Donna's first visit to the Pacific Ocean.

On Thursday Mom's church group came by.
There were so many folks that we rented the cabin next door for them.

Beach walks are the order of the day and the long flat Washington beaches always provide some sort of interesting shell, flotsam or driftwood.
