Attended Oberlin college. 

He worked as a banker in Youngsville PA until it went belly-up.

Owned and operated a very successful insurance agency until his retirement.

A lay leader and choir director of the Youngsville Methodist Church, a member of the Kiwanis  and was a 32nd deg Mason. 

He had 3 children.

His wife, Edith died, presumably of a stroke, 18 December 1973.

Howard died in Mar 1979 of heart failure.

Both are interred in the Youngsville Cemetery.
